Police continue to search for four masked men in dark clothing who smashed into SD Jewelry in Perth Amboy and stole $1 million in gold and diamonds last week.

The store on Madison Avenue has new security glass in place and the owner is slowly restocking that stolen merchandise.

Owner Stephanie Duran hopes to have her display cases fully restocked and all repairs made within two weeks.

Duran was pleased to get a visit from Perth Amboy police on Friday, giving her some reassurance that detectives are looking into who stole her jewelry.

One week ago, that entire robbery was captured on surveillance video. It showed the suspects using sledgehammers to break through the front window before jewelry.

As those men left the store, Duran and her mother would try to keep them from driving away.

Those suspects would physically push aside the two women before getting away in a BMW SUV.

Police chased them, but the thieves eventually got away.
