A warm and somewhat unsettled pattern continues, but temperatures actually peak today before a gradual cooldown into the weekend. While a stray shower is possible, today stays largely mild with clouds around.

Friday is still warm, but a step down from today, with highs in the 70s and a mix of sun and clouds. From there, cooler air settles in for the weekend, with clouds increasing Saturday and a steadier round of rain expected Sunday. Early next week turns cooler and drier before another warm-up builds midweek.

Friday: Partly sunny with a chance of showers. Highs in the mid- to upper 70s.

Saturday: Partly sunny and cooler. Highs in the mid-60s.

Sunday: Rain likely. Highs in the upper 50s.

Monday: Mostly sunny and cooler. Highs in the upper 40s.

Tuesday: Sunny and milder. Highs in the low to mid-50s.

Wednesday: Partly sunny and warmer with a slight chance of rain. Highs in the mid-60s.

Thursday: Sunny and mild. Highs in the mid-60s.
